Hyderabad is one of the most happening cities in lndia. ln the past ten years, it has emerged as a major hub for newer industries while retaining its earlier identity as the City of Pearls. Hyderabad Convention Visitors Bureau (HCVB) is a marketing body along with the Department of Tourism, Government of Telangana whose functions includes showcasing Hyderabad as the Convention Capital of India, research and seek institutions and associations that are looking for a city to hold their meeting events. Our membership includes conference venues, Hyderabad’s finest hotels, globally acclaimed Professional Conference Organizers, the Hyderabad airport, a transportation company, tourism packages and facilities - all the ingredients needed for a marketing bureau to offer a Whole of the City Approach. HCVB is the only bureau of its kind in India.

Scientific feature

Hyderabad is home to more than 1,300 IT and ITES firms, including global conglomerates such as Microsoft (operating its largest R&D campus outside the US), Google, IBM, Accenture, Dell, Facebook, and major Indian firms including Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Genpact and Wipro. Other than the companies already having established offices in the city, Hyderabad has seen many MoUs drafted with big IT, Software and Pharma multinationals investing heavily in the city. Apple, Google, Amazon, IKEA and Boeing are some of the companies who have widened their expanse to India, in specific, to Hyderabad.

Convention Venue

Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) is managed by AccorHotels, is a purpose-built, state-of-the-art convention facility, the first of its kind in South Asia. It features an internal hall measuring 6,480 square meters that can be partitioned into six smaller halls.
